Dolly being the name of the null comp in this graph that can be parented to any touch geo or camera to make them autonomous.

Orientation and position nodes are both speed chops and the expression pictured allows the thrust to be applied at correct orientation when firing.

Keys connected are rotate on 1 and 2 with thrust /reverse on keys 3 and 4.

Surface aligned instancing

To display iterations of the same object on it's own skin the surface normal can be converted into RX and RY channels using the pictured expression which features a pair of angle calculations.
